This is an application that will convert PDF pages into images of a suitable format.
PDF to Image Converter is an application to convert any PDF document into standard image file formats like TIFF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF and BMP. It is very simple to use. A simple and straight forward interface makes it a very simple 3 step process. Select a PDF, select output folder and format and then simply click to convert the document to images. Select PDF is supported by a files explorer and thus helps pick a file easily from your document directories. Select output folders also can be similarly done very simply. Then you have a drop down list of the image formats. Choose the one you need. Once clicked for starting the conversion, you can follow the progress on an analog bar.
While the progress bar is really helpful, what would have added value is a log function. As long as things go well, there is no problem. Just follow the process to the end by looking at the progress bar. However, should problems happen, there is no clue available as to the reason for it. A log capture of events would have been easy and helped pin pointing the reasons for problems. With the functionality available it means that once a document is picked, all the pages of it will have to be processed. A choice of page ranges, as with most PDF related utilities provide, would have been another useful feature. Overall though, this is a handy tool.
